Kathy is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Cum Laude. Kathy has spent over 25 years providing tax and accounting services in the Charlotte area.
She began her career with KPMG where she last served as a Senior Tax Manager. After taking a break from public accounting, she joined a local firm before taking a position with CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP as a Tax Director. As a partner at LB&J, she serves a wide variety of business and individual clients across many industries with their tax consulting, planning and compliance needs.
Kathy enjoys volunteering with several community organizations in the Charlotte area. Most recently, she has served meals for Room at the Inn, an Urban Ministries program to help the homeless. She is a member of the American Heart Association Circle of Red. Other community involvement includes serving as treasurer on several PTA Boards. Professional organization memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of CPAs.
When not at LB&J, Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and their many sporting events. She also finds time to do a bit of travel and relaxes with a good book occasionally.
